The site of this project, RDM, is located on the southwest of central Rotterdam. As Rotterdam is a city full of water, the only way with public transportation to get to the site is the Aqualiner, which makes RDM lack of attraction.

Compared with existing teaching and official function, the entertainment programme is definitely not enough. It leads to a somehow "void" atmosphere in RDM, especially during the evening. This project aims to bring new connections of spacial attributes to people studying, working and living here, thus unifying old and new ,work and life, as well as different members of this region.
