Marvins design for the RDM-area is aimed at framing the designs of others. Because of the arrival of 37 hyperbody buildings, the site will be overwhelming. The site will attract people from all over the world. Marvin wants to give them the oppertunity to discover the RDM-site by night. For this reason I want to build a hotel that will frame the hyperbody-buildings under the motto Veni-Vedi (he came, he saw).

Because of the amount of buildings, one building isn't capable to frame them all. Therefor the building makes profit of the qualtity of water: floating and orientating. One big building is impossible to move, so 5 little buildings (13x13x11) will be made. The facade mainly exists out of glass and a wall grown over with plants.

A hotel needs a service desk, foyer and a place where luggage can be stored. Mitchel's building (project 22), will integrate these functions. In return, I will filter dirty water by breeding vegetables. Because hotels are mainly used during night time, and visitors want to explore the site/have a meeting during day time, the building will be used as a student working place - or office overday. Because students-office workers need public functions, Marvins building will be attached to a place where public functions are held (Pedrams Building ). The students dwellings (Jeroens building) will be near the Pedrams building as well.

One of the main problems is the safety of the waterrooms and the roomservice delivery of the hotel. Therefor small shuttles must be used, to provide these services. The building will use water to cool and warm the building.
