So far they are separated buildings with no connection. The pavilion would provide a key element in the connection. Together with network of urban farming the pavilion is a center where different people can meet in an inspiring environment. Just as the different pavilion they have to work together.

Network
The pavilion is a part of a larger network. The network is located in the RDM harbor. The theme of the network is urban farming. Together with the other pavilions it will support this theme and make it to a whole.
Concept
The village Heijplaat is built in 1914 as result of the remote side of the RDM factory. The employees had to travel a far distance and the owner of the factory decides he wants his employees close to the factory. In 1983 the factory had gone bankrupt as result of that the whole community not only lost their jobs but also the reason to exist.
