Variations has the ambition of staying open around the clock, its main goal is to the ensure behavioural performance, the adaptiveness and the interaction of a piece of built environment with its users.
VARIATIONS collects energy, water, information and people from the new RDM environment. When it comes to users, The Public Baths can be a powerful attractor in the area and in the city. Speaking about local performance, collaboration with: Reconnect:Distribute:Materialise will provide users of the baths with access to retail facilities(floating market); Lotus effect will provide the necessary drinking and bathing water; Transport Hub will ensure a fast and reliable connection from and to the city. Possible connections may be established with Dwelling Grower, Babel Tower and Hydro^3, aiming to provide activities there with the benefits of the VARIATIONS design.
