STAGE 1
What exists is an abundance of water. Water as the strongest 'tangible' 'context' ! Building on water; water as a 'building material'? In the following states - solid(ice), liquid(water), Gaseous(steam)? Or water as a supportive element - Pneumatic Structures - Filler Fluid as water instead of Air/hydrogen et cetera ? Or water as an indirect element - Response to/Integration of the 'behaviour' of water - Vertical water currents, horizontal water currents ? Posiibly not a static 'form', but one that may construct and deconstruct itself temporally over various positions within the site - Possibly like a mechanism embedded which may 'freeze' and 'de-freeze' the 'building' ? That sounds outrageously un-sustainable though !
What are the problems encountered while building on/with water ? How can that be achieved in a more structurally optimal, cost effective and aesthetic way ? A 'biomechanical' application for reference ? A study of organisms/natural formations under water for deductions ?
The context - in terms of the building typology is not imposing(?). With an urban-rejuvination-objective, a 'stimulant' building; iconic, may be imagined. However, if the site is such that it affords some secrecy by virtue of some pre-existing activities having been abandoned, a new activity that needs some amount of seclusion; something to do with governance, intelligence, military resources may be considered ? Or partially so ? Or completely not ?
STAGE 2
A school of witchcraft ? This is hearsay, but I heard netherlands has the only legal school school of witchcraft. Needs validation...tone-it-down "museum" of witchcraft...occult sciences...tone it up ! The twist ?

School of tarror, numerology, mathematical rules...expression of the mathematics of "cosmology", existance...will find an expression in the mathematics of nature, of biology, of biomechanics, of its rules...? Looks like the perfect metaphor !
tarrot*.... What about the more pragmatic direction of the site, of economics...the school ? Occult sciences, of parasciences... AS A Direction for innovation, research ?
It is aalso the perfect "theme" for interactivity ! (Forgive my sins of outrageous-ness but I think there is something there !) The space will RESPOND ! React to numbers, etc etc all of that !

And Piranesi maybe ? Grotesque ? DERIVATIVES OF Medieval Islamic's crazzy mathematical expressions, of Gothic ? ALL THE WAY BACK TO AND FORWARD TO GAUDI ? Using all the new magic ? of Rhino and grasshopper and mathematica and bla bla bla !
Of swarms ... it will be a swarm, everchanging....but Eschers swarm, topological, variant, developing !
Of Deleuze... and of how Eastern mysticism and modern physics are paralleled, of the earth's telluric forces, of how a razor blade sharpens its edges when laid in a glass pyramid exposed to the moon or something... of HOW "DELEUZIAN" MATTER IS NOT AN INERT RECEPTACLE FOR FORM, BUT FORM MUST BE TEASED OUT OF IT !
Of magic and innovation, magic 'as' innovation, innovation 'as' magic, ... its the underlying coonotation of "negative" and "positive" somehow that differs...
When you want to 'rehabilitate/gravitate' people, this is great, because it will always (assumption) derive a strong reaction, negative or positive...it will be ACKNOWLEDGED !
