The Wave Phenomena is the center of interactions. The building has physical interactions with other projects. But it has mainly interactions with the activities taking place in other projects, the excisting buildings on the harbor and in the village Heiplaat. The Wave Phenomena will be the place that glues all the activities together with the exhibition and informationcenter. All people come together at the 'shop and snack' were can be waited for the aqualiner.

Interactions between project and other projects

The Wave Phenomena connects physically to a few other projects. The first project is the The Improvement System. This one creates a shortcut from or to the Innovation Dock to the Wave Phenomena were people can walk to the aqualiner. The second project it is physically connected with, is Variations, this project is connected to one corner of the Wave Phenomena. People can also use this as a shortcut to the other site of the harbor.

Interactions between project and buildings

The Wave Phenomena is very open and accessible; welcoming the visitors of the RDM area. It's a great display for the RDM Campus to inform the general public about their achievements and ongoing projects. The starting point of a journey through the RDM Campus.

The ICDuBo already fulfills most of these aspects, however it is only accessible at office hours by appointment. A missed opportunity to attract and connect with people other than the ones that go there with a specific goal in mind.

The techniques of Ampelmann might come in handy to connect to other object through a bridge of some sorts. They are specialized in stabilizing platforms that actively compensates all vessel motions for safe access.
