The Wave Phenomena

Summary

Water, sound, light and heat have the similarity that they are transmitted in wave patterns. In physics waves are rhythmic motions that transmit energy but not matter.¹ The energy can be can be reflected, absorbed and transformed among others.²

People interacting have similar characteristics. The ideas (energy) are transmitted between individuals (matter) which can be absorbed, transformed and shared. The aim is for architecture to likewise absorb, share and transform information to be able to connect with people and their changing needs.
